Karen Klumpyan the
designer of these beautiful and unique pieces has enjoyed buying and wearing
interesting jewelry for years. While browsing the internet for glass
jewelry, sea glass was discovered. The beauty of the colors and the
relationship to water and a warm sandy beach was quite inviting to a born
beach girl. A love of vintage pieces was the inspiration for accenting many
designs with distinctive old findings. Adding a bit of vintage flare to the
old glass seemed to be a natural fit.
Having the opportunity with my daughter Jennifer to comb the shores of Lake
Michigan in search of the precious gems was a memorable adventure. When
purchasing glass on the net it has been a fascinating journey of locating
and viewing glass from around the world.
I found it fascinating to
discover that sea glass is often referred to as Mermaid Tears.
The entire experience of using my God given talents in such a creative
manner has truly been a blessing. I continue to learn more about sea glass
and I experiment with designs that enhance my individuality. I value
